Through our close collaboration since 2014, David Sibbet and I have integrated the Liminal Pathways Change Framework with a theory of process that underlies many well-tested process models used by The Grove Consultants International. The Seven Challenges of Change Framework that has emerged from this integration is especially helpful for realizing strategic change in larger organizational settings.
It is our experience that, even when working with large systems, better results are created by intentionally working with the inner process dynamics of change in coordination with outer process structures and methods. Remarkably, it is by tapping into the human dimension that we are more able to cultivate the energy and focus it takes to do the real work of change. The full framework illustrated here provides a comprehensive checklist of what to pay attention to when designing and leading change.
